Athens United/ACC Leisure Dept. Soccer Facilities and Fields Information

All Athens United home games are played at the Holland Youth Sports Complex. The sports complex consists of 1 -- Under 10 field, 2 -- Under 6/8 fields, 1 -- Under 11/12 field, and 2 full size fields. The main platform is lighted for night play. The complex also features a concession stand and a small playground.

Holland Youth Sports Complex

From Atlanta: enter Athens on GA-316. At the intersection of 316 with the Athens Perimeter (GA 10 Loop), turn to the right immediately after going over the bridge (if you go past Home Depot it then you've gone too far). Turn right immediately after going over the bridge; this entrance ramp onto the Loop circles back under the bridge and heads you off in a north westerly direction.

Take the third exit onto Prince Avenue (Rt. 129). Turn right onto Prince. After a couple of miles, you'll see a set of huge concrete silos. Just past them, turn right at the traffic signal onto Jefferson River Road. Go about a mile and turn right onto Vincent Drive. Go about a mile and turn left into the Holland Youth Sports Complex. Take first right into the parking lot.

Alternate route: take the fourth exit off the Loop onto Chase Street. Turn left. Go about a quarter mile and turn left at the traffic signal onto Newton Bridge Road. After about a mile and a half, turn left onto Vincent Drive. Take the first right, into the Holland Youth Sports Complex.

From Hwy 316: Take the Outer exit Loop 10 (towards UGA) go to exit 10B - Jefferson, Commerce exit. Then take your 1st exit #11 - North Avenue and take a right onto North Avenue. At the 2nd traffic light, take a left onto Strickland (turns into 1st street), about ¼ mile, and then take a left onto Trail Creek, the park is at the end of this road.

From Holland: Take a left when leaving complex onto Vincent Dr. At stop sign take a right onto Newton Bridge Rd. go 1-½ miles and take a right onto Chase Street. From Chase St. take a left onto loop 10 and go to exit 11 onto North Avenue. Get into left lane, go to the 2nd traffic light, take a left onto Strickland (turns into 1st street), about ¼ mile down take a left onto Trail Creek, the park is at the end of this road.

From Holiday Inn: Take a right from Holiday Inn and then a right onto Broad St. At 4th traffic light, take a left onto Thomas Street. Stay in right lane. At 3rd light bear off to the right onto North Avenue. At 2nd traffic light, after you go under the train trestle, take right onto Strickland (turns into 1st street), about ¼ mile take a left onto Trail Creek, park is at the end of this road.

From Hwy 129 south from Jefferson: Stay on Hwy 129 (Jefferson Rd) and do not get on the Athens bypass (Loop 10). Jefferson Rd. becomes Prince Avenue at the intersection of Hawthorne Avenue after the bypass. After 8 traffic lights, Prince Ave. becomes Dougherty Street. Continue on this street. At 3rd light, Dougherty St. ends, bear left onto North Avenue. At 2nd traffic light after the train trestle, take right onto Strickland (turns into 1st St.), about ¼ mile take a left onto Trail Creek, park is at the end of this road.

Southeast Clarke Park
4440 Lexington Road, Athens 30605

From Atlanta: enter Athens on GA-316. Take a right onto the GA-10 loop towards South Athens. Take the Rt. 78 exit going towards Athens Airport/Downtown/Lexington. Take a right off the ramp going towards Lexington/Washington and away from downtown. Follow this road for about 3 miles. You will pass a Wal-mart on the left. The park is on the right.

Athens YWCO
562 Research Drive, Athens 30605

From Atlanta: enter Athens on GA-316. Take a right onto the GA-10 loop towards South Athens. Take the College Station Road exit and turn right off the ramp. Take a left onto Research Drive. The fields will be 3/4 mile down the road on the righthand side before you see the YWCO building.

Clarke Middle School
1235 Baxter Street, Athens 30606

From Atlanta: enter Athens on GA-316. Continue on GA-316 as it becomes Epps Bridge Rd. The road winds to the right and becomes Broad Street (US-78 BUS). Go up the hill and take a right onto Alps Rd. Take a left onto Baxter Street. The school is on the left. Turn before you get in the school.

Bishop Park

Take the GA 10 Loop to Prince Avenue. Turn left onto Prince. Turn right onto Sunset. Bishop Park is on the right side of the road.
