ACADEMY EVALUATIONS ENDED JUNE 12th
and SELECT TRYOUTS ENDED JUNE 25th

IF YOU MISSED SIGNING DAY, YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. Practice starts week of Aug. 4th for all teams

2. Fees are due ASAP- Financial Agreement form is required for all players. A Copy is on the Home Page. Please print, sign and send in to: 1071 C Founders Blvd. Athens GA 30606.

You are required to pay at least 1/2 now and the other 1/2 by August 15th. When you register online at the "Registration Payment" page , you will be prompted to choose "payment method" in a drop down box. You can choose to pay at once or payment plan. If chose payment plan, then it will prompt you to method (Visa, MC or check). If credit card, you will input your information. If a check, you will mail it in. You will also need to pay $90 for a uniform if you are new.

3. Sponsorship forms are available if needed. All forms are due by July 11th and a $100 deposit is due now. Please email Denise at ausamanager@gmail.com to receive a sponsorship form.

4. Online Registration- PLEASE GO ONLINE ASAP AND REGISTER- Please go to the home page to print directions to register.

5. Athens United Tournaments are Aug. 16-17th and Dec. 6-7th (Girls Only). We expect every team to be at our August Invitational and for teams to NOT do another tournament the weekend of the December Finale', as we need all the volunteers we can get to make it a successful tournament.

6. Tournament Program- Our fundraiser is to sell ads in our tournament program. Ads go in BOTH programs (Aug. & Dec.). Everyone is expected to try and sell an ad. Ads are due by July 14th to your team manager. Please go to our home page get the ad selling sheet. We are non-for-profit, so our only sources of income are registration fees and tournaments. The more we make from the tournaments, the less we will have to increase the fees in the future.

7. Website- For this year the website will be the first place to look for information. Denise Carlton will be updating weekly and will put on the front page the last date updated. Please check the website for info before you contact your team managers or Denise. Thanks.

8. Atlanta Silverbacks- Everyone who wants to go see the Atlanta Silverbacks on Friday, August 1st- please go to our home page to get the order form. It's $11 a person and is due by Friday, July 25th. We will have a chance for autographs and our club will be called over the loudspeaker during the game. Come show your Athens United Soccer Pride and enjoy a family night of soccer!

9. Additional uniform pieces- I had several request for more socks from returning players. I will have them available the 1st week of practice at the field if you would like to purchase additional socks. $5/pair. Shorts are $25 and shirts are $30.

10. If you have not turned in a medical release (all players) or a birth certificate (new players), please do so asap. You can mail it to: 1071 C Founders Blvd. Athens, GA 30606

 


Registration Fees for Fall 2008:

U10 Academy- $450/season

U11 & U12 Academy- $500/ season

U13- U19 Select- $550/ season

* Please note that fees include 1 away tournament a season. This is new- in the past, parents had to pay the tournament fee on top of regular season fees.

** Due to the increase in fees- Fee payment can be broken into 2 payments. 1/2 Due on Signing Day (June 12- Academy, June 25- Select and the 2nd 1/2 due August 15th)

Uniform charges are in addition to the registration fee at a cost of $90. This includes 2 Nike Shirts, 1 pair Nike shorts, and 2 pairs Nike Socks. The uniform is good through June 2009.

If a current player and need to replace uniform pieces:

Shirt- $30, Shorts- $25, Socks- $5/pair
